How do I apply?

Because demand for affirming housing is high, applying adds you to our general intake waitlist. Here is how the process works:

  1. Submit Your Application (~5 minutes): Click the button below to go to our secure intake form. You’ll be asked about your identity, current living situation, and immediate safety needs.

  2. Waitlist Confirmation (Immediate): Once submitted, you are securely added to our waitlist. Because our timeline depends on when current residents transition out of the center, we cannot guarantee an exact wait time.

  3. Use Interim Resources (While you wait): The form confirmation page provides a list of immediate local partners (like City House and the Resource Center) who may have emergency beds. We highly encourage you to contact them.

  4. We Contact You (When a spot opens): As soon as a bed becomes available, our intake team will reach out to the phone number or email you provided to begin your placement process.

Ready to apply? You are about to leave dallashopecharities.org and go to our secure partner site (Apricot) to fill out your intake form.
